I originally came across Kinesiology over 15 years ago in the States.  I was so excited when I realised that we could communicate with the body via muscle testing and able to find the exact cause of illness.  It opened up a whole new path to not only healing myself but healing others.

Kinesiology is a whole body healing system. It addresses every aspect of health - the physical, psychological, emotional, nutritional and spiritual.  It was developed in the 1960s by Dr George Goodheart joining both Western and Eastern healing techniques.

Systemic Kinesiology uses muscle testing in order to get feedback to access information regarding your health and wellbeing.  Precision muscle testing can allow the Kinesiologist to talk to the body in order to evaluate the mind, the body, the neurological systems, the endocrine and hormonal responses, the energy system as well as feelings, emotions, old negative behaviour patterns and memories

We all lead such stressful lives now and this impacts strongly on our body causing aches and pains and then illness and disease. When there is a disruption in the body it will show a change in the muscle response. A Specialised Kinesiologist is able to detect this muscle response in a person and in so doing is able to find out where the person has blocks and imbalances.

Once imbalances or blockages in the systems are identified, muscle testing can also identify the best way of correcting the imbalance specific to the individual. Kinesiology uses a wide variety of techniques that activate the body’s natural healing ability to create positive change and self-healing leading to new perspectives and a more meaningful, healthy and fulfilled life. Kinesiology works gently to resolve the underlying cause or issue that created the problem, as opposed to treating or suppressing the symptoms.

Corrections are made by gentle massage and touch on reflex and acupuncture points. Kinesiology makes use of specific body movements and may suggest changes in lifestyle or nutrition.

Kinesiology is a very safe. It can be used on infants as well as the elderly. It does not diagnose or treat diseases - it allows the body to reveal what it needs to restore balance and well being.

What happens in a session?

The muscle testing procedure will involve placing limbs in different positions whilst applying a light manual pressure to test the muscle response. The muscle testing allows the practitioner to pinpoint the cause and areas of imbalance. Then this is followed by muscle testing for the appropriate procedure or technique required to restore energy balance and health.

Correction are by a wide variety of non invasive, gentle techniques such as touching reflex points, universal healing points and light massage. The practitioner may advise changes in lifestyle and nutrition.

Will kinesiology cure me?

No-one can “cure” anyone else. If you cut your finger, you can put a plaster on it but your body heals the cut, and if you break a bone, a doctor can set it, but he does not heal it – you do …. and so as Kinesiologists we do not “heal” or “cure” but work to re-establish balance so that you can heal more effectively and improve your quality of life.

How many sessions would I need?

The number of sessions depends on each individual and their given focus or situation. Most people will notice improvement after one to three visits, but we cannot determine how many sessions in total will be needed.

What can it do?

By restoring balance to the energy channels, Kinesiology stimulates the body's natural healing processes and overall efficiency. Kinesiology is a way of helping you to discover the exact cause of your health problems and cancel the effects by asking the body intelligence (bio-computer) questions, through muscle testing.

As a corrective procedure for structural problems kinesiology stands alone in its ability to immediately remove pains and restore function.

In the areas of emotional stress release and self-sabotage, kinesiology offers simple and permanent ways to handle life’s challenges.

Kinesiology takes the guess work out of the picture by actually asking your body what it needs and the safe simple methods used can quickly help you to enhance your own recuperative powers.

A Kinesiology session will balance the vital life force energy of the body which will in turn:

  • reduce and eliminate pain (e.g. in back, neck, head, legs), improved posture
  • greatly increase energy level assist you to be more emotionally stable
  • repair muscle and ligament damage after an accident
  • regulate hormonal imbalances e.g. menstrual irregularities
  • alleviate and eliminate digestive problems
  • identify allergy causing foods and nutritional requirements
  • locate dietary deficiencies
  • remove cause of allergies
  • alleviate skin problems
  • help with learning disorders, phobias and low self esteem
  • release of emotional stress
  • enhanced functioning of brain and nervous system
  • setting and achieving goals

When I get better, how long will it last?

This depends on the individual and their circumstances. There is one certainty in life and that is change! Whilst we are living we are constantly presented with stressors, and how long we remain in balance depends on our genetic make-up and our ability to adapt to change appropriately. If you drive your car like a race car in the wind, it surely needs re-fuelling more often. A Kinesiologist can identify and address what is causing your “di-stress” and this in turn will help your body to adapt more appropriately with the stress.

Do you give medication?

We do not diagnose or prescribe medication, nor do we “take you off” your medication. You would consult your medical doctor for that.

Will Kinesiology undermine my faith?

Most certainly not. Kinesiologists are facilitators whose aim is to assist you for your highest good. We work within the realm of your belief system and not our own.
